Archeotrekking Ciminna

Archeotrekking Ciminna is a new type of cultural tourism, a mix between traditional trekking and archaeology where you will be taken around the countryside discovering the archaeology, the history, traditions and legends of the territory through the eyes of an archaeologist. From prehistory to the Middle Ages, you will see the actual areas where the ancient communities of Ciminna used to be set in a breathtaking landscape. You will also have the opportunity to have lunch in a local farm eating local food and drinking local wine and dine in a local restaurant. It is a two day tour but can be eventually rearranged. The first day will take to the southern eastern part of the territory  while on the second day you will be taken to the north-western part of the territory. You will be staying at a local B&B.

Day One

• 8am. Leave Palermo for Ciminna.
• 9am. Start Archeotrekking from the local Museum.
• 1pm Lunch in a local farm.
• 2pm Continue Archeotrekking.
• 5-6pm back at B&B.
• 8pm dinner at a local restaurant.

Day two

• 9am. Start Archeotrekking from the local Museum.
• 1pm Lunch in a local farm.
• 2pm Continue Archeotrekking.
• 6pm back at B&B or drive back to Palermo.

• Transport and B&B needed can be arranged.
